Frances Allcock joins Birmingham and Solihull NHS Trust as its new organisational and workforce director

Allcock moves to the trust from her role as interim executive director at the BBC, where she was director for organisational development and change. During her time at the broadcasting corporation her responsibilities included moving 2,500 jobs from London to Manchester. The BBC roles were her first taste of working for a public-sector organisation. In her new post Allcock will play a major role in developing the organisation and bringing about changes to support better outcomes for patients.
